Episode 175 – Dan Nevins – Yoga / audio

Yoga

Dan Nevins (@DanNevins on twitter) returns to discuss yoga with host Craig Price. Past guest (episode 97) Dan sits down with Craig in Washington DC for what Craig thought would be an informative chat about yoga but became an emotional story of coping with depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and discovery.  Being a popular speaker for the Wounded Warrior Project, Dan was afraid to ask anyone for help when he started to get depressed because so many saw him as a role model of recovery and perseverance.  It can be hard to ask for help because just showing a crack of your humanity to others can make them think you’re really in trouble when in fact, you just need someone to listen. Thankfully Dan found yoga and it has transformed his life and has shown him new ways to heal, get over his own doubts and shame and help his fellow soldiers deal with their PTSD. Of course Craig can’t be all serious so they discuss downward dog, passing gas in class and more. He even commits to a yoga class with Dan! An unexpectedly touching, emotional and real conversation with a person who has normal struggles just like the rest of us despite his inspiring story and life. A can’t miss episode for sure.

SPECIAL EVENT: This August 20th, 2015 at 6pm EST, join Dan in Bryant Park in New York City as he attempts to break the record for the world’s largest yoga class. Go to http://flavorpill.com/nyc/event/classes/bryant-park-yoga-thursday-august-20-2015 to RSVP for this FREE class.

Episode 157 – Lou Sapienza – MIA Retrieval / audio

MIA Retrieval

Lou Sapienza (@LouSapienza on twitter) joins host Craig Price to talk about MIA retrieval. It’s not often that Craig has an opportunity to talk to someone who is trying to make a difference. He talks to people who have made a difference or are making a distance but when Craig was made aware of Lou Sapienza and his company North South Polar, Inc. he knew people needed to hear more. The two talk of Lou’s attempts to recover 3 men who had crashed in Greenland during World War II, what kinds of equipment and manpower are needed and how the government needs specialists like Lou to help them recover their lost soldiers. Take some time to listen to what Lou is doing and if you feel the need to help, please contact your US Representative or Senator to let them know you feel this is as an important mission as Craig and Lou do.

You can learn more about North South Polar, Inc at www.nspolar.us as well as The Fallen American Veterans Foundation at http://www.favf.us/

The Fallen American Veterans Foundation, Inc., (FAVF) is a non-profit private Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) created in the spirit and belief that every American service member (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard) who has fallen while in the overseas service of our country, and whose body remains unrecovered, be brought home. They are advocates for these fallen heroes, their families and friends, and for every service member that has served honorably overseas and in harm’s way.
